Wow, I've got some stuff to catch you up on. Okay, it's summer, so not really. I do have a couple of interesting things to share, though. Firstly, I'm doing a short edition of Tunesday today. Yes, I know I could just wait until tomorrow, maybe I still will, but I have to talk about Silent Alarm Remix. In my last Blog I was pretty harsh on the album, but once I got to listen to it through some decent speakers, it really wasn't as bad as I made it out to be. A lot of the tracks are just "Meh" but some are really catchy and one track, Luno, done by Canada's own Death From Above 1979 might even be better than Bloc Part's version. So as you may or may not know, I live only about 20 min. away from the apparent "Greatest Indoor Show on Earth," in other words, the West Edmonton Mall. It is one of the biggest malls in the world, having over 600 stores, a waterpark, an amusement park, two minigolf spots and two foodcourts, a movie theater with Imax screens and a mini-Chinatown. Yeah. Pretty sweet. You'd think it would be awesome to have such a place so close, and it is, but sometimes it sucks, too. For example, when I went today, I came back with $110 CND worth of stuff, and most of it I don't want. At HMV I went looking for Boy Kill Boy's album, but I only found a single. Recomendation: Watch Weclome Back first. If you've never seen Homestar Runner before, watch this. It wont really make things any clearer, but it is what you are supposed to watch first. Oh, also note that the title makes -no sense- unless you've watched Weclome Back, which, by the way, is an intentional spelling mistake.
