I've recently come into possession of the first two Samurai Champloo manga comics. It was really good, good art and despite being different from the anime, the story was good too. Now, to my knowledge, the show was never aired in Canada. This sucks, so I've been looking for the DVDs to buy or, preferably, rent. Any stores selling it seemed to only have the final volume, and for a quite expensive price for four episodes. On the weekend, though, I found the entire show to rent at my local Microplay. (Their site sucks, don't hold it against them.) Not only that, but they had the only copy of Baten Kaitos in the area. I was really excited before it's launch back in 2003, but for some reason I never bought it. With BK Origins coming out I thought I should finally pick it up. I like it. Maybe ...
