Zizou blew it. I've always thought he was one of the greatest players ever, but how could he be so stupid as to end his career like that? No matter what he does, now, he'll always be remembered for that incident. Terrible. I'm sure Materazzi said something pretty terrible to make him do that, but seriously, it is extra time in the World Cup finals and the last professional game of your career. How can you go and get a red card? I was really sad to see things end like that, I was only rooting for France because England were out and because I like Zidane. Yup. Time for a blog. And guess what? I was very surprised to find out that I have people who aren't me reading my blog. Either that or Google Analytics is messed up. Anyways. The England game was today, I watched it and was, well, a little disappointed. Sure, they are through to the next round but if they don't pick it up they probably wont go as far as many are hoping they will. On the other hand, Portugal seemed to over do it. In their game against the Netherlands the two teams managed to rack up sixteen cards between them. Sixteen! Four of them Red! Insane. I haven't seen all of the game yet, though, I'm going to try and watch some of it tonight. That is probably a bad idea since I have my next exam tomorrow, but you can probably tell my priorities. ...And the weekend's lameness has decided to continue on to the week. Great. The first thing I'm mad about is all that math I did isn't going to count for anything. Turns out math marks were already due in and our teacher just wanted us to do it to study or something. I study anyways! That went on to the heart-breaking Oilers loss to the 'Canes, 3-1 in game seven. I don't even want to get into that one, they played really badly for having the Stanley Cup on the line. Lastly, England blow a 2-1 lead to Sweden with just a few minutes left in the game and end up with a tie. At least a tie is still good enough to not have to play the Germans in the next round. Here's hoping the unfortunate events end before exams start.
