I really wish I could stick to blogging, but I'm not particularly fond of writing about things involving people I know. It's not really my position to talk about them, and even if they wouldn't care it's not really something I'd necessarily feel like sharing in a potentially public manner. I think this is why I've had such a hard time motivating myself to write; my stories are about people for a change. It has been a nice change of pace for me personally, but it isn't so good for my blog. Luckily, I sketched a new idea for a blog theme and am nearly done setting up my WordPress dummy install so I can begin crafting my new theme. I'm nearing the end of a drama project, it has been taking up a lot of time the past few days. Basically, last Monday, we were put into groups and we got to pick a movie genre. We have to make a short film at least two minutes in length in that genre to the best of our ability. The catch is that we only had two weeks to do so, and pre-production didn't go as smoothly as planned so the group I'm in has been under more than a little pressure, especially today. I've probably done around five hours of work on it today, maybe more. We had a double class plus we stayed after school filming for half and hour. It's been a busy week. I had Monday and Tuesday off, which was awesome. We started school a couple of days earlier than the other grouping in my area, so they gave us a long weekend here. Unfortunately, my teachers still crammed five days of work into three. I had two unit exams, and I've felt a little pressed for time.
