I blame my friend, Harry, for my recent hatred towards racing games. I've never been that into the genre that much, so I had no intention to pick up Project Gotham Racing 3. If I had gotten a 360 at launch, that would have been a different story. My dad, however, is a huge racing fan. I'm no where as near as into it as he is, but I do love the BBC program Top Gear and I do enjoy watching Formula 1. It still came as a bit of a surprise, though, when my dad decided to buy the wireless racing wheel for the 360. He virtually doesn't game at all, and I didn't want it, so I have never really understood why he got it. One plus for me, though, was that it came with PGR3. I didn't really expect to get into the game, but for a while, I did. Once I got through the Arcade mode once on the Bronze, though, I just couldn't go back. Now, though, I wish I could, but there's kinda this thing about me not having a 360 right now that prevents that. Why? Probably the Bizarre Creations blog.

I should have posted again much sooner, but I've been putting it off, as per usual. Even some encouragement didn't make it happen right away. This time, especially as of late, I've been significantly less active on the internet and haven't been on my Xbox 360 for a number of days. This, I think, I can primarily attribute to getting back into Warhammer 40,000, a table top game. (Wiki it?) I've been catching up on building some of my models, I have a ton that I bought when I was in England since they were significantly cheaper there. I've also been playing quite a few games with my brother and will probably end up going to a number of Games Workshop events next month. Anyways, all this has been keeping me from getting another blog entry done. I had/have plenty of ideas, one which I may end up ...

In a terrible accident Top Gear and Brainiac host Richard Hammond was seriously injured yesterday while trying to break the British land speed record. He succeeded, but there was some sort of mess up involving the parachute while he was filming some final material for the show on his last run. He is said to have some brain damage but it is possible that he will be fine. The full story is summarized on Wikipedia. I love his work and wish luck to him and his family. Edit: Today Hammond's condition was changed from "serious but stable" to "stable." He was already talking normally to his friends and family today. Hopefully things will continue to improve.
