So things went very well yesterday. First, my new laptop came in the morning and I got that all set up. Next I went to take a test to get my driver's learner's licence, and got all the questions right. After the test I went to Microplay, a video game store, and found this special Mega Man X GameCube controller I'd been looking for. I got lunch from Quizno's and then spent most of the rest of the day playing around with my new computer. Today I went to Miami Vice with my friend, Harry. It was...not...that...good. At all. It felt like two hours of guys talking on phones and going to various locations for no apparent reason. Not a movie I'd recomend to anyone. Mega Man ZX is a side-scrolling shooter like the Mega Man games of the past. Primarily based of the Mega Man Zero series, ZX has similar game play, looks and story. ZX takes place in the not-so-far future of the Zero universe, which in turn takes place after the X series. Beyond the fact that Zero made the world a more peaceful place and that Model Z is based off him, he supposedly has no place in the story, the same basically goes for Mega Man X and his model.
The two main characters of the game are the teens Vent and his sister, Aile. This marks the first time a female character is playable in a Mega Man game, to my knowledge. ...I thought I'd fit in a blog. Go where, you say? Oh, right. I didn't post about that. I was in Calgary for the last few days and I'll be in Saskatchewan for the next few days. Great, hey? Anyways, on to other stuff. So, apparently the world is more stupid than I though. E3 has been canceled permanently and instead of a giant Comic-Con like event it'll now be a series of press conferences. This isn't really that big a deal to me since it was only open to the press anyways. The dumb part is they've gone and named it the E3Expo. E3 stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo. What kind of a name is Electronic Entertainment Expo Expo? Who is the idiot who came up with that?!? Nintendo probably wont even have that big of a presence anymore, with this giant event gone they'll probably focus ...
