The One About WordPress 2.3

It took a long time, but I now have my blog running WordPress 2.3 and my theme has been updated to go along with it. If there is one thing that I love about the Web 2.0 style now, it's that everything gets tags. So, I was originally planning to get a tag plugin, but I read about some of them and they sounded quite complicated, and I assumed that they would be useless when this update came out. Luckily for users of tag plugins, WordPress 2.3 can import all the tags into the integrated tag library, though I wasn't entirely wrong. So, as you've probably noticed, there is now a line under my original post meta for tags, and clicking on one of them brings you to a page that shows the top three tags and links you to my Tag Cloud page. I decided not to have the entire tag cloud above the tag archives, it looked too cluttered and disorganized. It could be worked into some blogs, though, and putting in on a sidebar for just that page would look great. Check out the WordPress Codex page for the tag cloud WP Tag for how to go about doing that.

A Bizarre Turn of Events

I blame my friend, Harry, for my recent hatred towards racing games. I've never been that into the genre that much, so I had no intention to pick up Project Gotham Racing 3. If I had gotten a 360 at launch, that would have been a different story. My dad, however, is a huge racing fan. I'm no where as near as into it as he is, but I do love the BBC program Top Gear and I do enjoy watching Formula 1. It still came as a bit of a surprise, though, when my dad decided to buy the wireless racing wheel for the 360. He virtually doesn't game at all, and I didn't want it, so I have never really understood why he got it. One plus for me, though, was that it came with PGR3. I didn't really expect to get into the game, but for a while, I did. Once I got through the Arcade mode once on the Bronze, though, I just couldn't go back. Now, though, I wish I could, but there's kinda this thing about me not having a 360 right now that prevents that. Why? Probably the Bizarre Creations blog.

Snakes on a Plane - Review

So, the internets would not be quiet about SoaP. Homemade T-shirts? Music? Crappy blogs that only talked about Snakes still probably had more readers than mine? Check, check and check. It seemed like a lot of hype for a movie whose title told the whole story. On Sunday I went to the movie expecting a laugh, and I got it. What I didn't expect was an exciting, entertaining movie who could make fun of itself. Obviously you can't go to a movie like Snakes on a Plane and expect a realistic, clever storyline. Honestly, the movie might have been better if there were snakes on a plane for no apparent reason. The movie had some major plot holes and confusing events. ("You're going on public transport instead of a safe, private jet to confuse the bad guy? What?" "Why is the bad guy wearing a white suit while he beats ...
