I've recently come into possession of the first two Samurai Champloo manga comics. It was really good, good art and despite being different from the anime, the story was good too. Now, to my knowledge, the show was never aired in Canada. This sucks, so I've been looking for the DVDs to buy or, preferably, rent. Any stores selling it seemed to only have the final volume, and for a quite expensive price for four episodes. On the weekend, though, I found the entire show to rent at my local Microplay. (Their site sucks, don't hold it against them.) Not only that, but they had the only copy of Baten Kaitos in the area. I was really excited before it's launch back in 2003, but for some reason I never bought it. With BK Origins coming out I thought I should finally pick it up. I like it. Maybe ...

...I thought I'd fit in a blog. Go where, you say? Oh, right. I didn't post about that. I was in Calgary for the last few days and I'll be in Saskatchewan for the next few days. Great, hey? Anyways, on to other stuff. So, apparently the world is more stupid than I though. E3 has been canceled permanently and instead of a giant Comic-Con like event it'll now be a series of press conferences. This isn't really that big a deal to me since it was only open to the press anyways. The dumb part is they've gone and named it the E3Expo. E3 stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo. What kind of a name is Electronic Entertainment Expo Expo? Who is the idiot who came up with that?!? Nintendo probably wont even have that big of a presence anymore, with this giant event gone they'll probably focus ...
