I See London, I See Sam’s Town

It's Tunesday again, haven't done one of these since mid-July. What Album the time around? Well, as you may or may not have determined from the title, the album is Sam's Town, The Killers' latest release. They've taken a step forward from the synth sound, but thankfully haven't left it completely. It may take a second listen before hard-core The Killers fans accept the more rock oriented music, but I'm really liking it. I'd read some thing about the album before I got it today, the band said it was a lot more rough. I loved Hot Fuss so I was hoping it wasn't too different. I have to admit when I played the first track and heard those uncharacteristic heavy rock guitar riffs come in, I was a bit sceptical, but after a couple of listens it is now one of my favourite tracks on the album. I'll keep it short today. It hasn't been that long since I posted, but I still like to pretend that I have a couple of readers that actually care if I post or not. Anyways, I was bored after I came home from school today so I started working on a website project for Comp. class. I like how things are coming along, you can check it out here. I don't really know what the subject matter is going to be, but I'm sure that'll come later. For today I just wanted to get the code down. This is the first time I've used CSS tabs, I know they are standard and a little drab, but I still like them. Maybe I'll try A List Apart's fancy tabs one time. Wow, I've got some stuff to catch you up on. Okay, it's summer, so not really. I do have a couple of interesting things to share, though. Firstly, I'm doing a short edition of Tunesday today. Yes, I know I could just wait until tomorrow, maybe I still will, but I have to talk about Silent Alarm Remix. In my last Blog I was pretty harsh on the album, but once I got to listen to it through some decent speakers, it really wasn't as bad as I made it out to be. A lot of the tracks are just "Meh" but some are really catchy and one track, Luno, done by Canada's own Death From Above 1979 might even be better than Bloc Part's version. So, sorry Bloc Party, I was too quick to judge Remixed but I wasn't completely off. My recommendation is this: If you like British ...
