I was just cleaning some folders out in my room, and I found this card that said Who is Dr. Cube? I didn’t know, nor did I know where I picked up this card.

I thought I had no idea what “Kaiju” was, either. I looked it up to find I did know what it was, I had just never heard this name associated with it before. Apparently Kaijū is the name of Godzilla-esq giant creature fights in primarily urban locales. So, heading to the URL provided, I discovered that the main story on the site is about Bloc Party, my favorite band. They recently did a video for their new single Flux that is a Kaijū short. I had watched this video a little over a week ago, and it turns out the post they made on their site about it actually mentions Kaijū, but I never read it. As soon as I saw the video was up, I closed the tab and started it. Maybe I’m stretching how weird this is, I just thought it was kinda funny that this card that could be years old but I found now.

The video’s actually quite funny, it was originally a exclusive on a music site I will not name seeing as the streaming was so bad the video is virtually unwatchable. Thankfully, it has since been uploaded to YouTube and, while they’re site design isn’t much better, at least the videos work well.
