Halloween and Half a Year
First off, happy Halloween, because there is nothing more happy than a holiday that was believed to be one of the few days of the year the spirit world could contact ours but is now just an event for rotting kids teeth, giving people a reason for wearing less clothes than is normally socially acceptable and allow cosplayers to blend in with the rest of society. Yep, gotta love Halloween.
At school I was surprised to see the number of students wearing costumes. We normally get a couple of cosplayers wearing something from day to day (Yes, I’m serious.) but I didn’t expect the holiday to be this popular in High School. Barney won single costume. Some guys with awesome Ghost Busters costumes won group costume. Then there was a milk-chugging contest and people threw up all over the stage.
Pretty disappointing blog for my sixth month blogging anniversary. I was planning to do less ranting and more Heroes reviewing but there is some 10-year-old sitting in my living room bawling over something and I can’t think straight.
…
What a stupid holiday.
