High School: Day Zero
School starts Wednesday. It pretty much sucks. I don’t want to go back. Today I had to go for high school registration, things didn’t go that well. After getting there a good ten minuets before I needed to be, I still had to wait in a huge line to get my photo taken. After that I had to wait in a line to get a temporary ID card, then went inside to find I needed to wait in, yes, another line to sign papers and get a finalized timetable and such. I’m tired of lines. All the inconsiderate smart people just snuck ahead of everyone else. That’s probably why it took so long, everyone kept going in front of me. Anyways, it really wasn’t that bad. I got through with it all and just had to go find my locker and checked the lock was okay. It wasn’t. My locker is in a pretty good spot, though, it is right next to my Language Arts class and my friend is only a couple of lockers down from mine. So, I ended up having to go to the office to get them to check if I had the right combination for my lock and I did so they sent me back and forth a few more times before giving me a new lock. This was all well and good, but I still couldn’t get my old one off and apparently it was too much trouble to get someone to just come and cut it. Finally I managed to get it off by entering the combination some weird and wonderful way. I’m glad that’s all over. It was nice to get one more look around the school before classes actually start, I think I’ve got the location of most stuff figured out now. I just remembered I have to go back again tonight for something, so I’ll really have had my fill of this place before school is really happening.
