X-Men 3 Review

I’m back from X3 and it was…not what I expected. I’d been told it was like the comics, and either my source was wrong, or I don’t know what happens in the comics as well as I thought I did. I’m thinking it was the first one. Don’t get me wrong, the movie was great, I like the story and the fact they weren’t afraid to, well, ‘mix things up.’ Angel was pretty cool, I’ve always liked that character, but he was a very minor character. It was good to see the Beast in an X-Men movie, but I have one question: Where the heck was Gambit? How can you leave him out? Another thing wrong with the movie was the Juggernaut. As you can see here, he clearly isn’t a mutant. If this was acknowledged by the writers of X-Men, the story would have been completely different, as Juggernaut wouldn’t have been affected by the mutant gene suppression. Despite these flaws, the movie was still quite good, and I’m sure you wont analyze it as much as I did, so you’ll probably enjoy it even more.
